1. Warranty. The Furniture Club warrants our furniture to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use
for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery or pick-up. The warranty is limited to the original purchaser with a copy
of the original Order Form or Tax Invoice. Visible surface damage (scratches, chips and tears), along with any breakages
and cracks with glass and marble products are not covered under this unless reported within the first twenty-four (24) hours
after delivery or pick-up. The Furniture Club is not responsible for visible surface damage to products as well as any
breakages of glass and marble products that are picked up from our store unless it is noted at the original time of pick up.
The warranty is VOID if the merchandise has been moved from the original delivery address or if The Furniture Club
determines the furniture damage was caused by any form of physical damage, abuse, accident, or if used for purposes other
than those intended, such as commercial use. Please note that warranty is not provided for items that are marked or listed
under ‘As-Is’ condition. Proof of purchase (dated receipt) is required for all Warranty claims. Any fabric or leather fading,
cracking and peeling due to weather exposure or damage through accident, misuse or negligence is excluded from Warranty.
2. Delivery. All balance must be paid prior to delivery. Payments cannot be accepted on delivery. If the location of the
delivery is not accessible by our delivery truck, it is your responsibility to provide transportation from the truck to the location
of delivery. If your order is undeliverable for any reason, the furniture will not be delivered, and be brought back to our
warehouse. The item will then have to be picked up by the customer from our warehouse to avoid any storage fees. All
furniture is only delivered to the ground floor. Any request for furniture to be delivered above ground floor will incur a charge
of $80. If the movers have difficulty placing an item in the area of your choosing due to limitations such as narrow hallways,
stairways, corners or ceiling heights, or have difficulty accessing the premise due to narrow doorways, the items will be
placed in another area of your home such as the garage. If you insist the deliverers move an item to a location of your
choosing, you will be responsible for any resulting damages to the furniture and to the premise that may be caused during
the course of the moving. Disposal of packing materials will incur a surcharge of $50. Once products are delivered to the
customer’s premise and have been accepted and signed by the customer, the products may not be exchanged nor refunded
(Unless reported within the first twenty-four hours of delivery). Please note no refunds are not provided where you have
simply changed your mind, made a wrong selection or simply found another item of our liking elsewhere.
3. Expected Time of Delivery. The delivery times depends a great deal upon availability. If the items are in stock at the
manufacturer, we average eight weeks for delivery. If the items are custom made to order, the delivery time will take
longer. Please note that the expected length of time require for shipment are estimates only and not guarantees. If we see
that there is going to be an unusual delay in your shipment, we will notify you.
4. Product Holding & Assembly. You will be notified when your order is received at our warehouse. Goods must be picked
up from our warehouse within fourteen (14) days of pick-up notification. If goods are not picked up within this period, order
will be forfeited and any amount up to thirty percent (30%) of the total order amount will be taken. Orders held at our
warehouse for more than fourteen (14) days after notification at the customer’s request may be assessed a nominal storage
fee by The Furniture Club. All furniture comes either flat packed in factory-packed cartons or are pre-assembled in our
warehouse. Please note all of our furniture does not have with any assembly instructions. Assembly service is charged at
$80 per hour if required.
5. Defective Furniture. The furniture sold by The Furniture Club comes with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the
Australian Consumer Law. The Furniture Club will repair goods if it fails to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not
amount to a major failure. If goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure amounts to a major failure, The Furniture
Club will provide to have the goods to be replaced, and if it cannot be replaced, a refund for the goods will be provided in the
form of a store credit. In the event you receive an item you feel is defective, please email us photographs clearly showing
the defect along with a clear description of the damage so that we can determine the cause of the fault along with the
severity of the defect. Minor door and drawer alignments are not considered as defects nor are they regarded as warranty
issues. Slight variations such as colour, sofa leg designs, or other slight design modifications may sometimes occur
between the actual product and the pictures in the catalogues. Please note all delivery / shipping fees are non-refundable
6. Returns and Repairs. If an item needs to be repaired or replaced under Warranty, it needs to be returned to our warehouse
at 33 Marble Dr, Kingston QLD 4114. If the goods cannot be easily returned due to their size or because they have been
affixed or installed in your premises, an assessment fee plus any required freight fees (item pickup and redelivery fee) will be
7. Cancellation Policy. Once an order has been placed, any deposit payments made up to thirty (30%) percent of the total
order amount will be deemed non-refundable. As such, any requests for cancellation of an order will incur a cancellation fee
of thirty (30%) of the total order amount. All payments made over thirty (30%) of the total order amount will then be
transferred and reclassified as store credits which can be used for new purchases. All store credits are valid for six (6)
months from the date of setup and must be redeemed within this time period. Any remaining store credits after the six (6)
months period will not be accepted and all credits will be deemed forfeited.
8. Layby Policy. The Furniture Club will provide customers with a lay-by agreement specifying all terms and conditions
including any termination fee and charges. All layby orders must be paid within six (6) months of the initial payment. Layby
orders will be cancelled if payments are not received within the scheduled six (6) months period. A termination fee of thirty
(30%) percent of the total order amount will be charged if the lay-by is cancelled.
9. Third-Party Providers. All third party services provided through The Furniture Club are not guaranteed by our company. It
is the customers’ responsibility to make sure that they fully understand the terms and conditions imposed by third party
